What It Is

  • Soy-free dietary supplement to support menopausal health.†
  • 120 capsules per bottle, two-month supply

How to Use:

As a dietary supplement, women take two (2) capsules daily one hour before bedtime or as directed by your health care professional. Each bottle contains 60 servings.

How It Helps

Menopause Health Supplement is a custom blend of:

Black Cohosh (Actaea racemosa):

  • Black cohosh comes from the root and rhizome of the North American black cohosh plant.
  • Black cohosh extract is standardized to a minimum of 1% of triterpene glycosides, although 2.5% is commonly seen. Menopause Health contains black cohosh standardized to 8% triterpene glycosides.

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata):

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis):

  • Native to Europe, lemon balm is a member of the mint family that has been used to reduce stress, promote sleep, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion as far back as the Middle Ages.

Magnesium:

  • Magnesium plays an essential role in a wide range of fundamental cellular reactions and supports energy, sleep, and bone density. Low levels of magnesium are linked to an increased risk of depression.
  • A healthy magnesium level supports sleep.†
  • Many adults don’t get enough magnesium through food, even though nuts, seeds, leafy green vegetables, whole grains, and fortified foods are good sources of this mineral. Chelated magnesium is easily absorbed by the body.

Reviews of Menopause Health Supplement

  1. Thanks to this supplement, I can sleep at night. Before, the hot flashes were often and intense. In addition, once awakened by the flashes, I could not return to sleep. It had been months since I had a good night’s sleep. The hot flashes can still be quite intense but not as OFTEN, and I can return to sleep. Before the supplement, this season of life felt unbearable. Now, it’s a slight inconvenience, and all is well. I’m so thankful for this supplement!

  2. I have been taking the Menopause Health Supplement for almost three months and what a difference it has made.

My night sweats are rare, and my mood – is 100% better… My husband is happy about that as well ;)

I highly recommend this supplement to anyone who is going through menopause. It is a game changer, for sure!

13 Questions
Ask a Question
Q:

Hi, I am no longer in menopause. Can I still benefit from taking this vitamin, or can you recommend another vitamin? I am looking for something that increases estrogen levels.

A:

Yes, you can still benefit from taking Menopause Health. The phytoestrogen black cohosh found in Menopause Health supports healthy estrogen levels. The B vitamins are also important in the creation and activation of estrogen. Advanced B Complex, Basic One Iron Free, or Cooper Complete Original Iron Free multivitamins can help.

Q:

Being post menopausal, and not on any hormone replacement therapy, I have facial (chin) hair I never had before. I believe it’s from the loss of estrogen in my system. What supplement would you recommend?

A:

It is common for women to have facial hair after menopause due to an imbalance of hormones. In fact, one study found that 40% of women over age 45 have excess facial hair, especially on the chin. There is no supplement to prevent the growth. Tweezing, waxing or electrolysis are options for removing the hair.

Q:

I am currently using a soy shake product for hormone therapy. I noticed that your product, “Menopause Health” is identified as a “Soy-free dietary supplement”. Can you tell me the pros and cons of a soy-free dietary supplement vs. a soy product?

A:

Comparing supplements to foods is challenging because the values are so different. For example, a large orange has 98 mg of vitamin C – but it also contains 333 mg of potassium, calcium, vitamin B6 and magnesium, and a tiny bit of iron. In addition, oranges contain antioxidants (flavonoids and carotenoids), and a typical large orange has 1.7 grams of protein and 4.4 grams of dietary fiber. So hands down, if it’s possible to include a large orange in your meal plan for the day, there are many benefits beyond the 98 mg of vitamin C you’ll receive.

A member of the legume family, soy isoflavones and soy protein are sometimes included in supplements, including shakes and meal replacement bars, to help reduce symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes. (You will also often find soy in supplements to support cholesterol and bone health.) While soy has excellent health benefits, soy is a food and a supplement ingredient that some people avoid, particularly those with a family history of breast cancer or thyroid issues. In addition, a small percentage of adults (less than 1/2 of 1%) are allergic to soy.

Genistein, an isoflavone found in soybeans and soy milk, is in this product in the branded form GeniVida®, a nature-identical soy-free form.
