How to Use:

I am currently taking Cooper Complete Calcium Citrate and Basic One Iron Free.

I take the calcium in the morning and the multivitamin in the afternoon.

How should Dermatologic Health be taken?

Like the Basic One multivitamin, Dermatologic Health should be taken with a meal that contains healthy fat for optimal absorption. You may take Basic One Iron Free and Dermatologic Health at the same time.

Q:	What ages can take the hair, skin & nail supplement ?
A:	The Dermatologic Health supplement for hair, skin and nails is intended for use by adults over the age of 18.

Q:	Lutein and zeaxanthin are like internal sunglasses for the skin. Does this mean I can ignore sunscreen?
A:	No. While lutein and zeaxanthin act like internal sunglasses for the skin, sunscreen is still recommended.

Q:	Can I take this product if I am also taking Coumadin or Warfarin?
A:	If you are taking Coumadin or Warfarin, consult your physician before adding any supplements to your diet.

Q:	Why is Dermatologic Health beneficial for Healthy Nails?
A:	Brittle fingernails are a common condition for approximately 20 percent of us. More women than men develop brittle nails. Biotin and Horsetail Extract are often used to improve brittle nails.

Q:	Why is Dermatologic Health beneficial for Healthy Hair?
A:	Horsetail Extract (stems) is often found in cosmetics and shampoos. A living fossil, horsetail extract contains high levels of the element silicon. A study has shown that horsetail extract was effective in improving hair growth.

Why is Cooper Complete Dermatologic Health beneficial for the skin?

Vitamins C and E are potent anti-oxidants that counter the effects of sun exposure by working to eliminate free radicals. When Vitamins A and E are taken together, studies have shown a significant reduction in Basal Cell Carcinoma, a common skin cancer that is sun-induced.

Two particular studies suggest that the oral supplementation of lutein may protect the skin from the damage of UVB radiation by inhibiting DNA damage and diminishing its inflammatory effects.
